Spring Gala Fundraiser

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does our school have a Gala?

Spring Gala is The Academy’s largest school fundraiser.  All schools suffer from budget shortfalls and this is a way to put your charitable giving towards your kids and their school.  Money raised from this event and others goes towards our goal to become a 1:1 school and other technology needs, supporting specials like Art, Music and PE, and many other areas,Provide internal scholarships to students to help with fees and meal accounts and continue support to our athletic, arts/theater and music programs.

What can I expect?

Much like other local fundraisers, Spring Gala includes a silent auction, plated dinner, live auction and entertainment.  The Gala is an adults-only evening for parents and staff to mingle outside of the regular school day.

What should I wear?

This year, the Spring Gala's theme is a Masquerade!  Semi-formal with your masquerade mask.

Where will my donations go?

As stated above, we work with the school to put donations where they are most needed.  More specific areas we would like to raise money for will be presented at the Gala.

All funds from Teacher Time auctions will go directly back to the teacher.

What is Heads or Tails?

Heads or Tails is a game played with a simple flip of a coin.  People with their hands on their heads or their tails are able to stay standing or be seated based on the coin flip.  The process continues until a single player is left standing – the winner!

Can kids come? Is childcare offered?
